No More!

At nap time on Sunday as I was putting Sidney down I handed him his soother and he responded with a "Don't want it!"  And then threw it.  I ran with it and he is now soother free!  He's asked for it a couple of times but I think mostly because I've told him that the soother fairy came and took them away to give them to new babies.  I think he just likes hearing that story now.  Today he asked what baby and I told him Kelly's new baby.  Then he said what kind?  Then I said we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet!

Rowan's 1st Diary Entry & Writing

Rowan loves to "write".  Above is her first diary entry...it was ripped out of the book shortly after completion as she  had to take it to school for Veronica.  Honestly we were in a hurry to get out the door and so I didn't really hear or understand the why but I remember it being urgent and dramatic!  Each day Rowan comes home with a drawing or two and sometimes we even get just a page full of letters.  Below is a recipe for something.  Pancakes maybe?

New Blankie!

 Rowan received a blanket from this company from a friend for her birthday last year and Sidney actually uses it all the time.  SO I thought he should have his own!  He arrived today RIGHT at nap time and he just loves it!

New Word!

Carson said a new word today which has rounded out his vocabulary at 5 words!  "Mama", "Dada", "uh oh", "hiiii", "boo!"

Boo was his new word today.  We were waiting to pick Sidney up from school and he'd hide behind the pole and peak around and say "boo!"  It was pretty funny!

Oh yes he also growls when asked what a tiger says :)
