Today we finally went and had some fun shopping with the gift cards Grammie Grammie gave the kids for Christmas.  Sidney took one look at the bike/scooter/skateboard/car section at Toys R Us and had found heaven!  He was running around saying "I want this!  I want this!"  He just LOVES his new scooter.   Thanks Grammie Grammie!

A Love of Books

I love that our kids love books so much.  There is never a day that goes by when they don't read.  So often throughout the day one or more of them will go grab a book and relax on the couch looking through it or ask us to read to them.  Rowan has library day at school on Tuesdays and I think it's her favourite day.

yay Sidney's potty trained.  I might be brave saying this this soon but it's been about 4 days and no accidents in the past 2!  We've even been able to leave the house and he'll use the public washrooms.  So proud of our boy!!  xxoo

Saturday Morning Sweetness

Right before I took this picture Sidney gave Carson a boost up onto the couch and then sat and read him Polar Bear Polar Bear.  Okay 1 page of it.  Still it was super sweet!

Sidney's Nap Time

At nap time Sidney always likes to take something to bed with him.  Sometimes it's his Lightning McQueen car and sometimes it's a ball.  Today it was his magic wand and yesterday it was a big Teddy Bear and his gymnastics ribbon.  I tried to get a shot of him sleeping with his bear and the ribbon, which is strategically placed over the bear's eyes.  However Carson's favourite thing to do after he gets up is get into Sidney's crib and jump and play with him.  So when I walked into Sidney's room with Carson and the camera Carson started immediately yelling to get into the crib and so Sid opened his eyes.  The shot I did get was right after he opened his eyes.  I laid him down exactly how he is now so he didn't even move for his entire 2.5 hour sleep!  Not that he could of went far with that bear in there!

Rowan loves to set the table for dinner.  She'll get her apron on and then get everything set up for a nice family dinner.  Tonight Casey didn't eat with us as he had the flu (AGAIN!)  

Haircuts!

 Carson got his first haircut today.  He really did not like it one bit!  Rowan and Sid got cuts too.  Sid's is just WAY too short for my liking as his rooster tail is back!  At least he didn't get the bowl cut this time.  The lady that did that last time was there again this time and I was like uh ya we'll just wait for Nareeman (who has done Sid's hair before and I liked it).  She used the buzzers and of course Sid kept moving and the sides kept getting shorter and shorter!!
