Away

This past weekend Mom and Dad went on a little vacation while Grammie, Opa and Nanny took the kids.  The kids had an amazing time as did we!  Although we did very little planning ahead for our stay in Banff we ended up doing quite a bit.  We weren't able to hike as most of the trails are closed this time of year since the bears are just waking up and haven't made their way up higher into the mountains yet.  We did however educate ourselves for fun on what to do if you encounter a bear.  Its quite funny to read as it really just seems it is all for not cause if you come face to face with a 600lb grizzly really WHAT are your chances??

Hello Rockies!

Okay so the only part of skiing we did was sit in the chalet and have a hot chocolate.  But we could of come up with all kinds of great stories about our runs!  Here we are with our rented ski jackets, our brand new toques and just posing beside  a strangers skis.

Spring is here!

One of my most favourite things about spring is being able to go outside after dinner!  Tonight we went for a little walk (even the pet worms came).  We just walked down to Fairmount and ran around the front lawn there.  There's lots of good fun there and is a great spot for hide and seek!

Today Leo came to the East side.  It was sunny enough to get outside in the sandbox!  Boots, and socks were even removed.  You know that means its a party!

Lessons with Rowan

Rowan loves teaching.  And her brothers are just enamored with her and will basically just about follow along with anything.  They both had to get into the action this morning.  It started out with letters then moved to art.  The shot of Carson writing with the pen is pretty cute!

Nothing gets your day off to a great start like a good breastkiss!
