Away

This past weekend Mom and Dad went on a little vacation while Grammie, Opa and Nanny took the kids.  The kids had an amazing time as did we!  Although we did very little planning ahead for our stay in Banff we ended up doing quite a bit.  We weren't able to hike as most of the trails are closed this time of year since the bears are just waking up and haven't made their way up higher into the mountains yet.  We did however educate ourselves for fun on what to do if you encounter a bear.  Its quite funny to read as it really just seems it is all for not cause if you come face to face with a 600lb grizzly really WHAT are your chances??

Hello Rockies!

Heading up to Sunshine Village to "ski".

Okay so the only part of skiing we did was sit in the chalet and have a hot chocolate.  But we could of come up with all kinds of great stories about our runs!  Here we are with our rented ski jackets, our brand new toques and just posing beside  a strangers skis.
